Initially, black and white digital prints of 12 illustrations of snakes were created, inspired by the representation and symbolism of the feminine in mythology and folklore. All of they are made on rice paper and were presented in the exhibition “Illustration Pop-Up Vol.2” in 2019 at KO-OP gallery in Sofia. The digital prints were subsequently utilized for a new series of originals, this time including acrylic drawings of plants that added depth, mysticism and a completed look to the works.
